Nick Cannon Welcomes 12th Child, Daughter Halo Marie Cannon

A Growing Family

Congratulations are in order for Nick Cannon, who has recently welcomed his 12th child, a daughter named Halo Marie Cannon. The baby girl was born on December 14, 2022, to Cannon and Alyssa Scott, the mother of his late son, Zen.

Cannon, a television host, comedian, and actor, has a large and blended family. His other children include twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey, Golden "Sagon" and Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell, and Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi. He also has twins Zion and Zillion with Abby De La Rosa, and Onyx Ice Cole Cannon with LaNisha Cole.

A Journey of Loss and Joy

The birth of Halo Marie is a bittersweet moment for Cannon and Scott, who lost their son Zen to brain cancer in 2021. Zen was only five months old at the time of his passing.

In an Instagram post announcing Halo Marie's birth, Cannon expressed his gratitude for the arrival of his new daughter while also remembering Zen. "Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning," Cannon wrote.

The Power of Family

Cannon has often spoken about the importance of family in his life. He credits his children with giving him purpose and meaning.

"My children are my everything," Cannon said in an interview. "They are my reason for living. I am so grateful for all of them."
