Nuggets Trim Timberwolves’ Series Lead to 2-1

DENVER – The Denver Nuggets bounced back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 117-90 in Game 3 of their NBA playoff series on Friday.

Nikola Jokic led the way for Denver with 24 points, 14 rebounds, and nine assists. Jamal Murray added 24 points for the Nuggets, who shot 50% from the field and held the Timberwolves to just 35% shooting.

The Timberwolves were led by Karl-Anthony Towns, who had 24 points and 12 rebounds. Anthony Edwards added 17 points, but the rest of the Timberwolves struggled to score.

The Nuggets will now host Game 4 on Sunday, with a chance to tie the series at 2-2.
