Pacers Trail Celtics 3-0 in Eastern Conference Finals
Pacers Head Coach: "They Are in a Position No Team in NBA History Has"
The top-seeded Boston Celtics are on the cusp of advancing to the NBA Finals, holding a commanding 3-0 lead over the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference finals. However, the Pacers are determined to avoid a sweep and force a decisive Game 5 on Wednesday.
While the Pacers have proven to be a worthy opponent, pushing the Celtics deep into the fourth quarter in three of their four matchups, in Game 4, the Celtics managed to outscore Indiana 25-19 in the final period, ultimately securing the victory.
Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle acknowledged the Celtics' dominance but remained hopeful for a comeback. "They are in a position no team in NBA history has," Carlisle said. "But we have to find a way to come at them even harder in Game 4."
The Pacers face an uphill battle, but they are not giving up hope. If they can manage to pull off an upset victory in Game 4, they will gain some much-needed momentum heading into Game 5.
