UConn Huskies Announce 2023-24 Men's Basketball Roster
Notable Additions and Returning Players
The University of Connecticut Huskies have unveiled their official roster for the 2023-24 men's basketball season. Among the new faces is Kemba Walker, a UConn alum who has achieved significant success in the NBA. Walker was the leading scorer on the 2011 Huskies team that reached the Final Four.
In addition to Walker, several other players have joined the roster after impressive performances at the college or international level. These include Adama Sanogo, the Big East preseason player of the year, and Andre Jackson Jr., a transfer from Indiana.
Returning Standouts
The Huskies are also returning several key players from last season's team. Among them is Adama Sanogo, who averaged 15.8 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. Jackson Jr. will be joined by Isaiah Whaley, a defensive standout who averaged 1.5 blocks per game in 2022-23.
With a strong returning core and a talented group of newcomers, the Huskies are poised for a successful season. They will be looking to improve upon their 31-8 record and fourth-place finish in the Big East.
